Glasgow city council is going to debut the XMas lighting on George Square, this Sunday 19th of November.
The countdown to the big day begins with the switching on of the Christmas lights in George Square. Radio Clyde’s George Bowie will start the festive cheer from 5.30pm and the Lord Provost will give her official seal on the festivities when she flicks the switch at 6.30pm
With a beautifully decorated tree, seasonal nativity and enchanting fireworks display fired from the roof of the famous City Chambers, Glasgow will be shining bright this Christmas.
The switching on of the Christmas lights also marks the start of Yuletide shopping in Glasgow, Scotland’s best destination for gifts, food and everything seasonal.

While I was searching for drink recipes, I found an odd mix of drinks called “dead dog” provided by Free Drink Recipes. Weird name and weird mixture. Whiskey with… tabasco sauce??? Hmm. May be you should not try it, and yes… that’s right… don’t even think about it… your next door neighbour’s annoying dog would definitely never like it!
